Because of its proximity to Camden Harbor, that also means it is less than a 10-minute drive to Glenmoor by the Sea!

Barrett's Cove Public Beach

Barrett's Cove Beach is located on Barrett's Cove Megunticook Lake in Camden, Maine. The lake provides fresh water and beautiful views of Camden Hills State Park. An advantage of this beach is that it is generally not crowded and that it has designated swimming areas, making it a great place for families and children.

Glenmoor by the Sea is just a short drive away from Barrett's Cove Public Beach which allows for an easy beach day.

Birch Point Beach State Park

Birch Point Beach is located at Birch Point State Park and overlooks Penobscot Bay. The beach allows for saltwater swimming and fishing, all while enjoying the awesome views of the bay. There are even picnic tables available if you'd prefer to just relax and take in the scenery.

Birch Point Beach is located a bit further away from Glenmoor by the Sea than the other Camden beaches mentioned above, but it is well worth the extra few minutes added on to the drive!
